Our attempts to meticulously manage life—our thoughts, feelings, and external circumstances—are frequently ineffective and create excessive tension. Consider the simple act of breathing: we don't consciously regulate each inhalation and exhalation; it happens organically. Similarly, we are encouraged to trust the inherent processes of life rather than trying to force outcomes. This perspective extends to our ambitions and desires. A relentless pursuit of a specific result can often prevent us from savoring the present moment and appreciating what we already possess.

This philosophy hinges on the acknowledgment of the transient nature of all things, including existence itself. Trying to hold onto fleeting experiences or resist the tide of change is comparable to attempting to grasp water – it inevitably slips through our fingers. Instead, the wisdom lies in accepting the unavoidability of change and learning to move with it, rather than opposing its flow.
